Elizabeth Anne Hancox

I am in my early 70’s and generally go by the name Beth. I live in southern Ontario and am a proud Canadian. I started writing in my early 40s with no intention of ever publishing. Now 30 years later I have decided to expand my horizons. I am an eclectic writer. I recently started writing poetry and am embarking on a new genre of children’s stories. My first love is essay writing which I most often publish here. My adult children and grandchildren are encouraging me to write more. I am interested in Spirituality, Philosophy, Storytelling, and Good Fiction. I also love reading cookbooks.

I recently moved into a small studio apartment in a seniors building and am writing more about my life there and how it has changed over the years. I have gone through several moves and done the downsizing thing more than once. I have learned to live with less and focus more on activities outside my home as well as taking time out to reflect on my inner life which is quite rich. I am a big fan of conscious aging.
